From the homepage you will see the 'OpenSearch Dashboards' button.

If you click this button, you will be taken to the following page where you can select Dashboard or Discover.

Discover allows you to query and view raw data.

Dashboards are preconfigured queries and aggregations viewed through visualisations.

Central Monitoring also provides an API.
