Managing Your Permissions

Contents

Defaults

Upon signing in to Central Monitoring for the first time, you will be automatically assigned:

  • A role with the structure <EID>_central_monitoring
  • To the default tenant
warning

By default, your role will not have access to any data - you will need to make a request to have these permissions added to your role.

Requesting Permissions

To request access to specific data and dashboards, send an email to CM-Support@accenture.com.

Understanding Tenants

Access is granted through tenants, which provide permissions to:

  • View specific dashboards and visualizations
  • Access data indices, relevant to the tenant name, in the Discover tool (e.g., atr_operations includes access to ATR metrics and logs indices, as they are required for operations)

Review Available Tenants to see which tenants are available.

Request Template

Use the template below when submitting your access request:

Subject: Access Request - EID

Tenants: [list of tenants you want access to]

Domains / CloudWatch groups:
- <application 1>: [list of domains you want access to (for container based applications)]
- <application 2>: [list of cloudwatch groups you want access to (for serverless applications)]
- <application 3>: [etc...]

Special Group Permissions

Some Accenture AD groups are used to automatically provide unique pre-configured permissions in Central Monitoring.

Currently these AD groups include:

  • atrcm.L3support
  • atrcm.quasar
  • atrcm.atrdev
  • atrcm.eventops
  • atrcm.ici

Unfortunately permissions with AD groups are not additive - if you are part of one of these groups, you will only have exactly those permissions.

If you need to join one of these groups - contact an owner of that AD group.
